We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the App's functionality. The categories of data we collect are described below.

We do not collect your actual Bitcoin holdings, private wallet keys, exchange account credentials, bank account information, Social Security number, or any government-issued identification.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to operate and improve the App. Specifically, we use your data to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain secure access to the App
• Generate personalized daily DCA buy recommendations based on your inputs
• Calculate your investment governor bias, rollover amounts, and limit prices
• Deliver AI-generated market analysis reports to your account
• Diagnose technical issues and improve App performance
• Respond to support inquiries submitted through our website contact form
• Send service-related communications (e.g., significant policy changes)

Data Storage & Security

Your account credentials are managed by Google Firebase Authentication, which handles password hashing and secure storage. We do not store raw passwords.

Market state data, AI-generated charts, and daily analysis reports are stored in Google Cloud Storage (GCS) in a private, access-controlled bucket. Access to this data is gated through a secure backend service that validates your Firebase authentication token on every request.

User preference data (capital, target date, DCA frequency) is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and is not transmitted to our servers.

We implement the following security measures:

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Backend API access requires a valid, short-lived Firebase ID token
• Google Cloud Storage bucket is private with no public access
• Our backend runs on Google Cloud Run with automatic security patching
• No financial account credentials are ever requested or stored

While we take security seriously, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services to function. Each has its own privacy policy governing their data handling:

We share only the minimum data necessary with each third-party service to perform its function. We do not share your personal account information (email, password) with market data providers.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services.

• Account data — Retained until you delete your account
• Daily market snapshots — Retained for up to 12 months for backtesting and performance validation
• App preference data — Stored locally on your device and deleted when you uninstall the App
• Contact form submissions — Retained for up to 12 months or until the inquiry is resolved
• Crash/performance logs — Retained for up to 90 days

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 10.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability — Request your data in a portable format
• Opt-out — Unsubscribe from any non-essential communications

Children's Privacy

The Bitcoin Smart DCA App is intended for use by adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 10. We will promptly delete such information upon verified request.
